Neighborhood Amenities

Within RiverLights you’ll find the shopping and dining center Marina Village. A grand lake house is home to a fitness center, the community pool, and water play areas.

At the center of the community is Live Oak Commons — an open space with hammocks, for relaxing and afternoon concerts.

Where to Eat

In the center of it all, Smoke on the Water is a great place for a glass of wine, oysters, and views of the river. Magnolia Social Cafe makes a perfect lunch getaway and some great chicken and waffles for brunch. Southern Shores Craft Beer and Wine is right next door for help in selecting a bottle of wine.

Nearby Niche Kitchen and Bar is truly a hidden gem of bistro cuisine. At The Pointe at Barclay (a staple of shopping and dining in this neighborhood), there are plenty of options. Check out Zocalo’s upscale Mexican food, Far From France’s pastries, and Pizzeria Il Forno’s Neapolitan-style pizza.

Where to Play

Riverlights has no shortage of activities. With kayak slips along the water and trails to explore, you may never have to leave the community.

Club Golf is an indoor golf venue for rainy days or anyone looking to perfect his or her swing. Bring a golf bag and tee off in one of four simulators. Children and non-golfers will enjoy virtual soccer or zombie dodgeball.

Just 10 minutes away is Carolina Beach State Park with more hiking and water views, including a famous white sand bluff.
