Our Favorite Date Night Spots (By Neighborhood):
Greenfield Lake & South Front District
Date night at True Blue Butcher and Barrel includes steakhouse classics for a delicious (but not too fancy) outing. Their shareable menu, plus an exciting bourbon selection, makes this a top recommendation for Greenfield Lake locals.

Hampstead
When in Hampstead, head to Oval and Ale for a full menu of pinsas. Their flatbreads come in a personal pan size, and they also offer plenty of appetizers, salads, and specials. It’s a great, casual spot for date night, offering the familiar feel of a local pub.

Wrightsville Beach
If you are looking for a classic date experience, we’ve got you. Jerry’s offers cozy, white tablecloth dining and serves classic American cuisine. The food, atmosphere, and overall experience here are divine. Jerry’s is an original Wrightsville Beach staple for a reason!

Carolina & Kure Beach
If you’re in the area and looking for a romantic date, Freddie’s Restaurant is your place. Candle burning in a wine bottle? Check. Giant plates of spaghetti? Check. Plus, the pork chops are famous, and so is the house salad dressing.

Ogden & Porters Neck
For delicacies from the land and sea, head to Cape Fear Seafood Company near Porters Neck! Southern favorites, steaks, and pastas await. They also have a large selection of desserts to end your outing on a sweet note!

Pine Valley & Masonboro Loop
For a romantic night out, look no further than Indochine’s sister restaurant, Cafe Chinois. As its name suggests, this place blends French and Asian cuisine. It also boasts an impressive Dragon Bar with craft cocktails perfect for your Instagram feed.Â

Downtown
Do you know of another restaurant in Wilmington that lights a giant wheel of Parmesan cheese on fire with whiskey and then tosses pasta noodles inside for a decadent sauce? That’s on the menu (and your table side) at Tarantelli’s, along with some of the most authentic Italian dishes around.
